The WamBam aluminum fence worked perfectly for a backlot area at our small amusement park. We saved thousands with WamBam, having our maintenance crew install it themselves without the need to hire a subcontractor. With their easy "no-dig" post design, it went in fast without any trouble. Christie, our customer service representative, was top shelf from start to finish. She was very helpful every step of the way and even contacted us after the installation to make sure everything went well and we were happy with our new fence. A great fence for a great price with great customer service!
I was very impressed with the high level of customer service & support I received in getting my WamBam fence. Robert prepared my quote & put together my order within an hour or so of my omlone request. I placed my order & it was shipped out the same day. Then Lorraine gave me great support with the shipping of my Slim Jim fence. She called the shipping company several times for me & my fence order arrived at my house within 6 days of my receipt of Robert's quote.
I recommend WamBam to everyone considering a fence. This is my second fence order. My wife & I recently built a new house & knew we wanted a WamBam fence so our German Shepherd could enjoy the outdoors.
Thanks Robert, Lorraine & everyone at WamBam.
The first day we installed all of the pipes - had to stop early due to a BBQ obligation. Day 2, we set out to install the top doughnuts, and prepare the posts to receive the aluminum sleeves. We predrilled as per the instructions, then tried to drive the small self drilling screws. There was an alarmingly high failure rate on them! On at least a third of them, the self drilling tip would break off in the hole. I would then go back and drill that out again. After that, I would use what was left of the screw (threads and head) to finish the job. On many of those, the head then snapped off. After a few frustrating hours we stopped and went on a hunt for better screws, and more drill bits. We went to harbor freight, home Depot, Lowe's and Finally Menards before we found something acceptable. We purchased both the smaller and larger size of a stainless steel self drilling screw with the same heads as the ones provided. That did the trick - they worked without even predrilling.
The next issue was post spacing! On nearly every post, we struggled to get the panels in. We frequently had to pull the post on the open side to make things work. We watched your videos and read the instructions, but the spacing just wasn't right. Other than those issues, I found the system and materials easy to work with, and am happy with the results! On a side note, on the short side, we didn't have enough space to use the jig for the gate. Instead, I bolted the post that holds the gate to our deck. Worked great.
